We build fireplaces that are "period" pieces, in that they represent a specific style or periods of time. We enjoy the challenge of building reproductions of historic or "high" styled fireplaces, such as a copy of the George Washington fireplace at his home in Mount Vernon. We have frequently been asked to design and build outside fireplaces. Some have multiple uses, but frequently are used for cooking. We have developed a couple of unique add-ons for the gourmet, which allows this to happen anywhere in the home, in the yard or by the swimming pool.

We are sometimes in homes with fireplaces that are no longer used. They are considered unsafe. We are called because we know how to "fix" them so they will work. We have discovered that most of the time these older or poorly laid fireplaces can be made functional. Call us for information.
